Hi there,

WRT the windshield pillars on a GT6, I believe that the windshield
frame is the same as the frame for the Spitfire. A friend if mine
had his out of the body while he was doing restoration work to the
dash area, and I asked him this. I'm not sure how you take it out,
but it apparently is do-able.
