One more car event for you upstate New Yorkers to watch for is the
Shelby American Automobile Club's 18th annual convention (SAAC-18) at
Watkins Glen July 7 through 10.  Most of the cars will likely be Shelby
Mustangs but these events are well attended by members so there will be
lots of Cobras, a number of GT-40s and one or two Daytona Coupes.
Carroll Shelby plans to be there with his "new" 1965 427 S/C snake.  I
suspect even some of the parking lots of area motels will be
good viewing.
