Ummmm, not really. A tie rod end is usually a spherical ball ball
wth a stud attached that is inserted in a socket with a threaded
piece. A heim joint doesn't have the stud in the spherical ball.
Sorry about the misinformation. I stand (or sit) corrected.
I guess I'm not up on the lingo.
