Header Insulation

Anybody had any experience wrapping headers with insulation? I've heard of
it being done, but don't know who makes a good wrap. Despite Lotus' attempt
at a heat deflector sheild, the motor mount on the header side still fries
after about 4K miles. I want to wrap both the header pipes and the mount in
the area where they are close (they get within a few inches).
