I'm trying to determine if I really need to use an oil thermostat. This is sunny California so extreme cold is not a problem. I realize the engine will warm up faster with a thermostat but without one will there be any problems? A thermostat is not a big deal, it's just that it's another place (actually 4 places - 2 inlet and 2 outlet) for the oil to leak. Do MGBs and 1275 Midgets with stock oil coolers (and any other LBCs) have thermostats???? thanks, Rich Hill |
