Regarding the previous posting about Satan's 100-6, I
forgot the best part !
-The exhaust was a shambles, leaky & loud, so the first
thing was to fit a new system, front to back. When I
pulled off the old one, not only did I find that it was
made up of flex pipe entirely, the mufflers were two of
the longest glasspacks I have ever seen, the entire
mess was held up with coathangers, AND, the junctions
were, are you ready for this- split soup cans, wrapped
around the pipe, covered with JB weld or some such
very-difficult-to-remove-after-it's-been-heat-cured-on
for-years stuff, all held fast by big hose clamps.
