While we're listing nice things to have when doing engine rebuilding,
let me add to Scott's and Roger's lists one thing: bore cleaners. That
is, bottle brushes, made of steel instead of nylon, in various shapes,
sizes and lengths. I bought an assortment from Pegasus racing, but you
might find equally servicable ones at a gun supply store. Use them to
get all the machined bits out of your oil and water passageways.
