Nash?

It seems the car I saw at the junkyard was a Nash, probably a Rambler.
Anyone know what engines these things had? It really looked like a
1500cc mini/spridget type engine, the only sizes I can find mention of
for these is 803, 850, 997, 1098 and 1275. The block clearly said '1500'
on the side. This seems to be mostly a british car, looks like all the
mechanicals and electricals are british.
