I drove mine thru 2 winters back in the early 80's it really paled havoc on
the acrylic as well as the door bonds. I got real good art getting in and
out without air assist as the snow and ice build up made the whole thing a
nightmare. The Schrader valve on the tanks always froze up, the air lines
were either frozen closed, torn off, or cut. the vacuum pump couldn't handle
the moisture in the incoming air and seized a couple of times. handling in
the snow wasn't that great, I tested the bumper several times and cracked
more than one fender. If you drive careful, buy some pretty aggressive tires
and have strong arms and back it's a blast, the heater worked better than
my old air cooled VW but not much. I have to say that I was younger and more
foolish then but it was a blast, well at least until I smacked that truck
doing about 30. No big deal but it sure made me realize I needed a winter
beater.

> Hey everyone. Well, I am only about 2 weeks away from making 2264 my
daily driver, which I am very excited about. Unfortunately, it is also the
beginning of the snow season here in Colorado, today was our first snow.
Everyone is saying that it is supposed to be a pretty bad winter. So I was
wondering, has anyone on the list driven their Bricklin in snow? If so,
what was the experience like? I was talking to the other owner here in
town, and he was saying that his handles terrible in snow. I know some of
you might say that I shouldn't, but it is either that or keep driving my '77
Nova, which is pretty bad in snow too. So any advice, stories, etc. is
appreciated. Thanks.
