no fuel in the injectors

  Ok, does this sould like a fuel pump or a gas sending unit or a regulator 
or maybe even a simple fuel filter?  I really don't want to get into the 
fuel injectors on it. its not getting any gas at all through the injectors,  
you crank and crank and crank, then after a while you will hear the 
injectors pulse and then it fires right up.  Any ideas?
