Work and home projects are keeping me too busy,=C2=A0I am at the point of f=
arming out the work that I need done to get my fun car on the road. I have =
a "1976" Mini with a 998cc engine and an automatic transmission. I believe =
it has a bad torque converter, but I don't want to have to pull the engine =
and transmission twice so I'm thinking of rebuilding both the engine and tr=
ansmission while I am at it. I have a 1275cc engine and tranny set up that =
I got when I bought the car and if I'm going to rebuild, I might as well re=
build them and swap them in.
Any recommendations on who to have do the tranny work? I could probably reb=
uild the engine myself but if I find a good deal I'd farm that out too. I l=
ive in the North Ogden area. The 1275 unit is on a pallet that I can put in=
the back of my Ranger and take about anywhere.
