Living Traditions Festival
May 19 - 21
Salt Lake City and County Building
This annual performing arts event honors ethnic traditional and contemporary
customs. Performing artists include craftspeople, dancers, musicians and
even chefs (yum!).
Pugs and Diane Pivirotto (those party animals) are great fans of this event,
and are organizing a BMCU night Saturday May 20. The featured performers are
The Dirty Dozen Brass Band.
If you'd like a fun, low cost (entry is free) night on the town contact Pugs
or Diane at 486-0547 to get directions. In fact, why not make a day of it,
taking in the Armed Forces Day car show in the afternoon, and Living
Traditions in the evening? You might even catch Mayor Rocky on the washtub
bass.
