Gee, I was just working on a writeup of the BMCU swap meet next month.
Wonder if some unsavory character will show up with a batch of badges?
I had my house robbed while Maggie and I slept on March 6-7 at Palm Springs
home.
They stole LOTS of stuff...computer, 1972 MB 350SL, personal address
book/daily planner
AND about 250 car grille badges --MOSTLY MG CLUB, etc. ... I've bought over
past 2+ years...maybe $12,000-$15.000 worth.
I'm using library computer for now...every other day.
PLEASE
1. ASAP email other MG folks with my alert and put in newsletter, etc.
2. If I bought badge(s) from you in 2004-2005, please let me know...I'd like
to repalce if possible
3. Keep an e-Bay-eye out, and swap meet looking for MG badges and older sports
car club, British motoring, etc..
Oh ya, bark brown 350 SL WA 'collector vehicle' plate on rear, 'Ol BENZ' on
front, antenna on FRONT drive fender----all after '72 are on rear.
