Body Shop 101 by Dave Maxwell
Judging from the turn out at Dave Maxwell's January 15 tech session on rust
repair panels, there is a lot of interest among club members on body work
for our aging, rot-prone Britmobiles.
In response, Dave has agreed to continue this series on Saturday November 19
with a discussion of the next stage in body work, focusing on fillers and
preparation for painting. Dave calls this Body Shop 101 --- for you Vo Tech
guys and gals --- and will cover the proper way to mix and apply body
fillers, the correct grit of abrasives to use, and the preparation of the
surface for primers.
The venue will be the same: the APW Training Center at 157 West Burton Ave.
(2360 So.). The session will begin at 10:30am and should last about two
