Hello autocrossers,
220 participants returned to Oakland on Sunday to try their hand at driving
on a newly slurry coated surface. Thanks goes to John Fabella and Anthony Lewis
for chairing the event and Rick Gould for course design. Our regular lot is
still being coated, although it might be a while before the surface is roughed
up enough to provide good grip.
Round #14 is scheduled for August 13th, next Sunday at Golden Gate Fields.
However, always check the club website first for the latest and most up to date
information. Michael Saylor and Dick Bishop are returning again this year to
chair the event. Remember that all events begin one hour later at GGF.
Warm weather and clear skies are predicted.
