A fellow SCCA member recently posted the following on Team.net:
"Just saw a story on the local (Topeka) news about possibly using the
Kansas Expocenter to house hundreds, or perhaps thousands, of refugees from
areas affected by Hurricane Katrina. Wonder if the Nationals office has a
contingency plan for this (if it happens)?"
The SCCA National office has not been notified officially, as of yet, of
any refugee arrival plans. However, contingency plans to address this are
currently being formed should this become a reality.
