They may, but they don't have to.
It's not run like a representative government. It's a democracy.
If you don't join the Steering Committee, it's like not registering
to vote. You have chosen not to be taken into account.
Anyone can join the SC, it's not exclusive.
Sure it's a lot of work, but nothing comes free except on the internet.
So skip the guilt trip against the SC members. You should sure
voice your opinions here, and make SC members aware of them.
But just remember that they don't count for anything unless you vote them --
in the SC as a member -- or unless you convince SC members they
make sense.
