Hi Tam,

It is possible to register Saturday just like a regional event, however
I would *strongly* recommend getting there on Friday if it at all
possible. There are more little things to do, see, and learn especially
your first time. For example, you need to acquire and apply the
required stickers (SCCA Solo2, Road to Topeka, SCCA solo events on the
hood) plus the TireRack banner on the windshield. You won't be allowed
to compete without these and it does take a while to put them all on.
If you want to reuse them, bring some magnetic stock and a knife as
well. Also, you'll need to familiarize yourself with the grid procedure
and course work responsibilities which are slightly different. Also the
course is open for walking on Friday so why not get some extra walks and
pointers from the fast guys?

In short, if you get there Saturday you might be able to run, but I
don't think you'll have time to enjoy the experience or learn the course
well. Definitely go on Friday if you can.

Peter
