  bigger classes = more competition at your level, below and above your
level-
  someone to push yourself against every event
  bigger classes = if you have a bad event you get beat by 10 people- learn
to
  be consistent, learn to drive well on all surfaces
  bigger classes = push yourself harder- learn faster
  bigger classes = more fun!!
  small class = use your crap tires, drive like crap, still win.  :P

I agree.  Big class = GOOD, for the most part.
Small class.....still win = reason I raced in Slush last year.  :-)  I had to
luck into that sweet spot where enough raced to generate trophies, but not too
many good ones to beat. Helps a lot when Don, Paul, Mark and others don't show
up!!  :-))    Of course, then SCCA will re-adjust the class structure and
you'll have to move again....
