Now that I have driven with Falkens on my Miata in both the rain and dry
I'd say they are a fantastic wet weather tire, especially in standing
water. The dry performance is not quite as good in my opinion. They
squeal quite a lot and don't seem to work as well as the Michelin Pilot
SX-GTs I had on the car before. The grip was good, don't get me wrong,
but the Pilots were incredible on dry asphalt and the Falkens don't seem
quite as good to me. However I have not made nearly as many runs on the
Falkens or played with pressures yet. On the street the Falkens feel
great and I think they will get reasonable wear if you don't make too
many autocross runs on them.
