A couple months ago someone on the group forwarded a message to the
list about a guy that did this. I took them up on the deal and had
a bunch of small dings fixed in a parking lot in Fremont. It turned out
fantastic.
None of them had scratches just dents.
I had one in the hood and
3 on one rear quarter and 4 or five on the right rear quarter panel.
Turns out that on the Camaro that is about all the metal that exists
on it. The rest is some plastic composite stuff that doe not dent.
Well the price was right. I think he was asking about $25 a dent but
since mine were relatively small and focused in 4 areas he only
charged me about $85. I was soo impressed with his work
I gave him the $100. OK, I guess I am cheap. I should have given
him more. Also there was a group of 6 or so of us so he may
have given us a break for quantitiy but I think he is real
reasonable so you might want to check him out.
Any ways. This guy knows his stuff.
It is worth $20 just to watch him do it. (but watching is free)
It is really amazing. I had some dents with very hard
edges from doors and he got them out 100%.
It is truly amazing. He will have a dent gone and he still works on
it for 5 minutes after to get the stress out and stuff.
Well he does this for a living, I think he does contract work for the
various used car and new car dealers on the west bay. So he knows
how to get to all the dents and remove all the interior panels and
stuff to get to them.
I am not going to guarantee his work but it worked for me.
And if he does not think the dent is do-able he will tell you
and not do it.
Since we probably are not suppose to advertise on here I will
