I totally endorse the GEEZ. It is a great tool. I bought mine last year
with the purpose of showing Scott and Elise what I was doing in the car.
The combo of taking Scott and Elise for rides with me and then comparing
their runs with the Geez after the event really help them understand
where they are losing their time. And the data gave them something to
improve on.
The other very good driving tool is a in-car video camera. It not only
helps you critique your own run. You can show your co-drivers your runs
too help them "see" your runs. It also helps at big events (when there
is more time) to let "friends" get a look at the course. Right Rob? ;-)
Yes James my car does hit 1.4g's. My 3rd run at Nationals I hit 1.4g's
peak and 1.3 sustained.

i think it also shows the max peak and sustained lateral, accel and
braking
G's. kinda cool as borden registered 1.47 lateral Gs (and 1 G braking
and
acceleration), and i think vic said he was getting 1.4 lateral on
kumhos. i
wonder how it compares to a skid pad G test.
