Hello,
My name is Jon Saxon, motoring journalist/feature writer for Yahoo,
Performance VW, VW Motoring, Car Markets, Sportscar and author of a
forthcoming hardback book on VW Motorsport in the UK.
My contact is with regards to the book, which is covering all aspects of
motorsport, starting with the 1970s up to the present day - the world over.
The various chapters of the book will focus on car and driver profiles, as
well as covering bygone reports/coverage and technical specifications and
press quotes.
The main areas include, drag racing, tarmac/stage rally, circuit racing,
hillclimb, rally cross. I require information on as many series from around
the world as possible, what VWs enter and to what effect.
The book will present itself as the universal guide to Volkswagen in
Motorsport, therefore I am keen to document every area of racing that VW is
involved in.
if you are aware of any water-cooled Volkswagens running in your events I'd
love to hear about them.
