Larry,
The hot debate these days amongst the bimmer heads is whether M5 is a faster
track car than M3. Personally, I think a modified M3 can beat an M5 on
track any day. But then again, I look at the world through my
daytona-violet-colored glasses :).

          Navid,
There are people that would kill to get corner
weights within 1%, me included. It'll never happen on a
stock body/chassis Corvette. I bet you drive one of those
rocket BMW M3's. If you want to see a real ICBM try and
stay with a BMW M5 and an instructor driver. Those things
are awesome. 400hp in a light weight sedan!!!!

Oooooh, I smell a challenge! But I don't think you need to be present to
win. I think we can do this by lap time (autox style :)). I don't have
times at Button Willow, but 1:55s at Sears and 1:46s at Laguna should be a
good start. My car weighs about ~3200lb with me in it and puts out 216HP
at
the wheels. Frankly, I think it's much more than HP and weight. My car is
within 1% of 25% weight distribution on each corner. I think that is a big
 factor.
