Subject: A Visit from Racer Nicholas
This is from Road and Track before it was Road & Track. I used to run
it every year when THE RIGHT LINE was an actual paper newsletter.
I wrote an extra stanza as editor:
This poem's so old, you must understand,
"Road & Track" had not yet started their ampersand.
To patch up the meter for the jolly old elf,
I tweaked it a bit, in spite of myself.
