I honestly dont recall having any bruises, if I did they were very minimal.  
My chest was aching just a little bit from the seatbelt.  The adrenaline  was 
going pretty good.  I've been autocrossing for over seven years now. I  was 
going about 45mph when I went flying off the side of the road and hit the  
ditch 
in my Miata. In my 325 I had my cruise set on 75 on the interstate when  the 
deer hit the front left corner of my car.  I think the only reason I  was able 
to keep control of the car after the impact is because of my autocross  
experience.
