Charles, I am an SAC member, I drive a Celica ST in GStock and I race a MINI
Cooper S in BMW CCA Club racing...so you could consider me well-versed in this
matter. With minimal camber, no LSD and over 2650lbs to lug around, the Cooper
S is not in jeopardy of overthrowing the current G Stock leaders, which are
typically low hp/low weight cars. The Cooper S was within it's 12 months of
initial classing and the SAC and SEB were well within their bounds of
reclassing this car. This is a standard part of car classing within Solo II and
is fully explained in the rulebook.
