Hey team.net, let's play "Am I nuts or is this wrong?" (at the risk of
sounding stupid)

Subject car: 1987 Audi 5000 Turbo Quattro Wagon
Problem: Front wheel bearing replacement.
Question: Am I nuts, or should there be like "zero" axial free play
after the dealer (who has a proper press) pressed in a new wheel
bearing?? These are large sealed bearings that press fit into the
housing. After getting home with it, the hub rocks and rolls around 3
degrees in any direction. Inner sleeve vs outer sleeve. Huh? It's
worse than the old bearing I had them take out. Looking at the half
shaft, once the retainer nut is on and is holding the stub axle in, I
just don't see what would keep the wheel from flopping around like a
tuna.

Any help please? I'm taking it back to the dealer in the morning
(costing me around 3 extra days without the car due to schedule
conflicts.) unless someone says: "hey Pat, it's normal...go ahead and
install it and don't worry." Thanks!!
