I'm sure this is going to be a great event, but your repeated posts are
 bordering on SPAM.

I'm not pissed or anything, just wish it could have worked out better. For
those who would like to get in two days of competition on a big
national-style course, click over to http://wcsllc.net/gatewaytonationals/

Whoa there, big fella'.
First, everyone knows that autocrossers are the worlds worst procrastinators.
Jean's OK to post the Evolution event deadline on a regular basis as a
reminder on what potentially will be this year's biggest spectacle :-) short
of Nationals. Those who don't make the 8/1 (1 month in advance of the actual
event) deadline will probably be destined for your event.
Second, a number of competitors who don't want to show their hand to others
before Nat's won't be going there, but will instead be going to your
Divisional event.

Further, a number of people are looking at attending the Peru warm-up on
Saturday and then jogging over to St Louey for your Divisional on Sunday and
Monday, leaving their cars there, and flying back for a short drive to Nat's.
I don't see where you need to be overly concerned about attendance to the
Gateway-to-Nationals Divisional event in St Louis, MO on Labor Day weekend.
It's a great concept that should do well.
