I Don't have the credentials or the racing experience that lots of people
here have in their SP cars like Heath. (I do like racing against someone
better tho so I know when I am improving!) But I also don't have another
car. So I drive my SP neon everywhere unless I need over 4 seats and then I
borrow the Parents Party Wagon Van. I have a racing seat and high rate
springs and race valved struts etc. All the SP suspension tweaks are there
although the springs arent the highest rate and arent coilovers. I have no
problem with it I never run A/C just because I like fresh air rather than
dry A/C air.
I've driven to as many Atlanta and Charlotte and other NC events up to 2-4
hours away. I also drove to neon98 and neon99 in Belvidere Ohio which with
stops was 13hrs away. I've taken a vacation in Daytona Beach and Miami
Florida which are 6 and 9 hours away respectively. I am a bit younger and
dont' mind the punishment but I like the racing seat better than the stock
seat and drive with the racing harness on.
I guess its more of how much punishment you can take from the suspension.
