SP Turbo Questions

1) What the heck is a DSM?
2) Please name a _single_ turbo car that has done well in SP at the
National level without first showing it was a major Stock contender,
e.g. the RX7TT.

BTW, I really liked the rationalization about the ESP V8 crowd adding
turbos to their cars as a justification for banning update/backdate.
