AS or AP TVR??

Hi,

On pg 34 of this months SportsCar is a picture of "Bill Sanford's
TVR". The car has AP on it and sure looks like an AP car to me,
even has a "MY GRIFF" license plate.

The caption says it is Bill's AS car. I sure hope not. I thought the
TVR 3000 was the later, longer and thinner TVR style, not like the 
stubby old ones from the 60s. Am I wrong?
