Job title: Brake fluid transfusion

Job difficulty: 6 yeungling lagers

job cost: Valvoline synpower dot 4 brake fluid $4.00 a quart (2 quarts
reccomended) + $3.95 for one man bleeder hose (pep boys)

job result: As good as any bleed, but the fluid is cheap and has great
properties

Job desc,
Fill resivour (on many bmw's the quart will sit upside down on the resovoiur
and fill as needed) start with the wheel furthest from
the master cylinder, (usually right rear) remove wheel, place bleeder hose
on bleeder valve, lock in place with included washer, turn bleeder valve 2
turns place one way metal check valve in chemical resistant container, pump
brake pedal till fluid comes out clear, close valve. repeat for each wheel
working your way closer to the master cylinder.

This job will make threshold braking much easier if your old fluid was
degraded or had air in it, The nice thing is if the car is used on the track
also, this fluid is dot 4 with a dry boiling point of 521+ degrees and a wet
boiling point of 333+ degrees (the best I've found for this price) and has
Low moisture asorbition properties.. the bleeder hose although cheap works
great, the hose end fitting did come off under pressure once but securing it
with a pair of vice grips made it work

Good Luck
Jeff Lloyd
