Jeff asked about the G-tech....

I just got one,   and it seems to work pretty well...the 'trap' speeds for
1/4 miles are about 2mph high,  but the et works pretty well, as does the
0-60 times.    It also works great for testing brake pads, as it's got a g
setting that shows instantaneous vs average G's.   

not as sophisticated as the G-analyst, but it's cheap, and pretty user
friendly.
