A good friend of mine just uncovered (literally) a very solid rust free
Series IV in Oregon. This was a California car and under cover and well
kept. He only paid $800.00 and got it running yesterday. Nice twin Solex
carbs and all. He plans on using the car for TIGER SHEET METAL!! Ouch!
I am trying to talk him out of it. He is wavering but I don't know.

If I had the means and money, I would go double his money and trailer it back
to Colorado for a safe home. The problem with this guy is he has made a TON
of money parting Alpines and know what kind of money can be had in parts.
