cooling system question

Hello Gang,

A recent over-heating has pushed me into overhauling the cooling system on my
S1...fortunately no major issues to report.
Some creative aluminum rot repair and a radiator service should get me back on
the road soon.
I do however have a question regarding the heater plumbing.

I have no need for the heater.
Can I simply block the outlet at the waterpump and the inlet on the head?
