Guess it does. I've had Bosch platinums in mine for eight or nine
years. Never pulled the first set in six years. I suppose they would
have lasted longer if I hadn't been doing almost exclusively in-traffic
driving with an elderly engine--they eventually became too carbon-fouled
for reliable running.
