While I have the body off the frame on my TR6, I thought I would try to
tackle some of the oil leaks starting with the oil pan gasket. When I bought
the
car a couple of years ago, the PO told me that one of the oil pan bolts was
striped out. I will find out soon which one.
What is the best way to replace the pan gasket and what kind of gaskets are
out there. Is there a silicone gasket or should I just buy a standard gasket
from TRF or Moss? Is Hylomar the best sealant to use?
