I have found that the special bolts for the driveline flanges are the same
diameter compared to the locating dowels. Length is somewhat shorter though.
For the purpose of locating the tranny on the engine backplate however they
work just fine: the precision shank just needs to stick a little bit through
the backplate to center the tranny.
And I happened to have a few of those arround when installing the tranny ;-)
