[6pack] OD return springs

I have just finished going through my A type OD to decrease the oil leaks and 
correct a slow to release problem. The clutch return springs were replaced 
and now I notice that it takes considerably more effort to rotate the rear 
flange. This seems logical as the old springs were pretty weak, but has anyone 
else 
had a similar experience?
