The front valence is a weld-in piece.
I replied directly to John, but this is not a novice-level repair.
It takes time and TONNE of measuring to get it "right".
I'd def. suggest a body shop and expect that there is other damage present
meaning that the cost will be a lot more than the $400 valence.
There is now a partial panel available, that could make the job a tad
easier to accomplish assuming that the piece can be stitched in. However,
with that repair, I'll guarantee that a body shop will cut corners to keep
the price down. Don't shop on price - shop on what they do to fix the
problem (as opposed to covering up the problem.
