Rusty,

Wow, what a sweet little car you have there! The car looks to be 
very,very original as it sits. If I were you I'd do my best to keep it 
that way. Roadster Factory in Armaugh, PA  carries  the literature you 
are looking for . I recommend you get a Bentley repair manual, a 
Roadster Factory TR250 spare parts catalog, and  a Haynes  manual . Ask 
your questions here, and you'll get some good replies from good people. 
I don't know the Bay area at all for shop advice.

Spare parts suppliers of new parts include Roadster Factory (PA), Moss 
Motors  (CA), British Parts NW (OR), and Victoria British (KS).
 For used and remanufactured stuff, I get my parts from Team Triumph in 
OH. There are plenty of others around , some probably local to you.
 
Your challenge will be to not only get workable spare parts, but to try 
to get exact matches for the originals. For instance the convertible top 
has a TR250 specific pattern, and no zip-out window. The distributor has 
not only a vacuum retard, but also a vacuum advance controlled by a 
little plastic valve under the intake manifold attached to the linkage. 
(Some 1969 TR6's also had it)  The spare tire cover is TR250 specific. 
Many of the hoses have a yellow and black stripe on them. Unfortunately 
no one I know has mass-reproduced those yellow and black hoses. It's 
easily possible to'upgrade'  to the zip-out window top, for instance, 
and to put on cheaper more easily found  generic TR6 parts when need 
arises. If you had a different car that might be wise. In your case, 
though with it already being so pristine looking, I'd get the 'right' 
stuff to keep the period look intact.

Please don't get me wrong, it's your car to do with as you please, I'm 
just saying what I'd do with that one. I've always wished to find a 250 
in that exterior color, with a black interior.

There is a Haynes manual covering the ZS carbs on your car, the kits 
should be available from any of the above listed establishments, or you 
could send them to Joe Curto to be rebuilt. I have never heard a bad 
word spoken about his work.

Good Luck, and if you ever decide to sell that baby, put me on the 
mailing list! I'd ship it back here in a heartbeat.
