        I used 3M weather-strip adhesive. I find that contact cement is
not terribly durable. It seems to degenerate into sticky goo over time,
rather than fully curing. At least the crap that I used did. The 3M
super weather-strip stuff has proven to work well and not let go over
time. All in my humble opinion of course.

I had good luck with 3M interior spray adhesive, but I heard someone at
a 
show say it's best to use nothing except the rivets and the rails.
Easier to 
adjust and adjust and get it tight. I'd like to hear from someone that's

done it that way too.
