Another way to increase oil pressure is to replace the spring in the oil
pressure relief valve. If your engine was recently rebuilt and the oil in your
car is 20 W 50 I would expect a little more pressure than you have. It could be
as simple as a weak relief valve spring. New stock ones cost $1.95 from Moss
and the heavy duty one is $1 more (parts #329-295 for std and 295-355 for
heavy). As someone else said if your engine has quite a few miles on it your
oil pressure is about what would be expected. Either way I don't think it is
so low that it will cause any problem.
