Well I went over to noted SCCA TR6 racer Sam Halkias and he knew what it was
right away. He has seen it alot before. The drivers side were the head meets
the block is not sealing compression but has a 1/2 inch portion of the
gasket that runs the length over the engine and seals the oil galley (just
over the lifters). Sam says this is a spot that he uses high temp sealent on
all his race engines ther or they leak oil. NOW IF ANYONE HAS A GOOD IDEA
FOR GETTING A HEAD UNSTUCK FROM THE BLOCK LET ME KNOW. John Joh son 1974 TR6
