On my 74 - right side, the bottom of the badge is 3 1/16" from the top of
the chrome at the bottom of the fender but on the driver side is 2 7/8".
Both are 8 1/4" in from the edge of the front fender (edge closest to the
door).

I know the right side has been repainted so that may explain the difference
in height.
