Thanks to all who replied! I've got some great pictures that show exactly
what was needed. And the pictures covered the entire spectrum from the
altogether too familiar work in progress to beautifully finished dashes.
The plan is to place the gauge just over the center of the console. It will
be centered in the bottom row of gauges where the rheostat that adjusts the
dash lights from dim to flicker to off now resides. The three warning lights
will also be removed. There is a large opening in the sheet metal so just
the wood panel needs to be modified. Time to recover it anyway.
