i am sure this is discussed, but unable to find the correct search criteria
on the archives.

i have recently started driving the TR again and like the brake clicking
noise, i have noticed
other noises that i don't recall hearing in the early days of owning the TR.
(bought it in 1992
right after college).
i have actually had this noise for a while, but never investigated...then i
had shoulder surgery and didn't drive the car...
it seems to come from the passenger side.
slow speeds i can hear a slight whirling noise, but at highway speeds is
what seems
more out of the ordinary (louder?) and discomforting (for obvious reasons!)
not sure if the slow speed sound is the same as the highway speed.

not sure if this is a 'normal' bearing / differentail noise or if my rear
wheel bearings
are crapping out. any way to verify w/o a complete rebuilt? not looking
forward to
dismantling the entire passenger trailer arm! tough to describe the noise
over email! LOL.

hmmm...
oh, i would know if it was a u-joint (those are fairly new)that would clunk
rather than a whirl.
the differential was rebuilt years ago and has few miles on it.
it has plenty of fluid.

thanks everyone!
