Some books say the later TR6 weighs close to 2600 lb. I know there's
extra stuff hanging on these cars, (bumper extensions, air pump, etc.,)
A friend works at an oil packing factory and they buy stuff in bulk
tankers, and pay for it by weight. That's how I got mine, by driving
onto their scales. You could do the same at one of the truck stops,
using a 12 pack or something for payment.
