Hello list, I was given part CR 14708, a metal seal with a nice rubber inner that fits on the shoulder of the front spindle. This arrangement is to be more better than a felt inner seal? The problem I have is that the axel spindle shoulder is 1.385" and the rubber seal on the CR part is 1.433" . I'd prefer it tighter, but the parts man says, "that's as close as I can get". What have others done? Thanks Hadrian 74.5 (starting to look like a rolling frame!) |
